Our counselors are comfortable and skilled at providing counseling in a manner that addresses spiritual needs and respects a client’s religious beliefs and values. Many organizations provide counseling but we seek to treat the entirety of a person or family in a balanced holistic manner including spiritual issues.

Our focus is not on generating profits but on providing needed professional services for the communities we serve. Most of our clients pay for services themselves. We seek and accept donations as a means to offset the cost of providing professional services to clients who are unable to pay.

Rates for counseling sessions are set at $60 per clinical hour (45-50 minutes).

We also have a "sliding scale" for those who have limited financial resources.  We help you find a way or help you make a way.

Fees for testing, assessments, reports and court appearances are additional depending on the request.

Group Sessions have a fee related to each particular group.

Individual Counseling bd05503_.wmf (34576 bytes)

Counseling is successful when a client experiences positive personal growth, develops problem solving and coping skills and sees a reduction in bothersome symptoms or problems. Depression, anxiety, addictions, poor self-esteem and many other issues are well addressed by individual counseling.

Marriage & Family Counseling
A strong healthy marriage is the best thing for a happy nurturing home. Although no one gets married planning to divorce more than half of all marriages end in divorce. Investing in marriage and family relationships pays dividends in life satisfaction, personal health and emotional well being. Problems like infidelity, unresolved conflict, emotional distance and interpersonal violence can be addressed with marital therapy. Family counseling can help both parents and children by addressing problems with discipline, abuse, behavior or school problems.

Group Therapy
Group therapy is an ideal way to learn new ways of relating to others. It can help participants understand how others see them, provide a safe place to practice new relational skills and develop confidence. Groups are commonly organized by subject or problem area. Groups for anger management, grief, parenting and abuse survival are common.

Educational presentations, workshops or seminars
Although not designed to substitute for counseling many people benefit from training on mental health related topics like parenting, stress management, marriage enrichment, treatment choices for depression, etc. We provide customized presentations to meet the needs of most any organization.

Testing and Reports
Testing provides a great deal of useful information and can aid in diagnosis, developing treatment goals and tracking progress. Alcohol and drug testing, temperament analysis and personality profiles are just some of the clinical testing services we provide. Reports can be prepared as requested for court, school, employers etc.

Referrals and Psychiatric Consultation
Some clients would benefit from services we don’t provide. Referrals to additional treatment resources are made as needed or requested. Medication management is a valuable option for treating mental health disorders. Although we do not provide psychiatric or medication services we work closely with clients and their doctors to monitor medication effectiveness and side effects.
