David Pate

David is the Center’s Executive Director and lives with his family in Summitville.

Well respected by his peers and appreciated by his clients, David is truly a man with a loving heart.

David has a BA in Music (with a minor in Psychology) and a Masters degree in Religious Education and Counseling from New Orleans Baptist Theological

Seminary and Tulane University. David has extensive training and experience in pastoral, family and marriage counseling.  He has completed advanced studies in Human Sexuality and is certified as a Pastoral Counselor from the National Association of Christian Counseling and the American Association of Family Counselors. In addition, David is a charter member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.

David frequently appears in area Courts to testify on behalf of children and families.  Because of his work David has been deemed a "Friend of the Court" in Bedford, Coffee Counties, Warren, Franklin, Lincoln, and Moore Counties in Tennessee.

David sees clients for individual, family and marriage counseling.

 

Linda Langham

Linda is the Center’s, Senior Psychological Examiner and lives with her husband in Summitville.

Linda is licensed as a Senior Psychological Examiner for the past three years and held prior licenses, as well.

She has extensive experience in working with children and adolescents and has been directly involved in the school system for the past 30 years.

Linda is a well respected school psychologist, trained in the administration, scoring, and interpretation of intellectual and psychological testing.

 

Dr. Beth C. Mason, Ed. D.

Beth is a counselor who see clients in our Winchester, Tennessee office. She is a long time resident of Franklin County and continues serving the county as a School Conselor. Beth is well respected in the community.

Beth received her Doctorate from Vanderbilt University in Human Development Counseling; her Master of Arts from Tennessee Tech University in Guidance and Counseling; and her Bachelor of Science from Tennesse Tech University with a double major in Liberal Arts and Secondary Education (with endorsements in Counseling, Administration and Supervision, Psychology, and Sociology).

She has a very diverse background in Counseling, as well as having been an educator in Psychology and Sociology on both high school and university levels. Her counseling experiences have been in an abuse

shelter for women and children as both a counselor and outreach coordinator; worked in the school system as a crisis counselor for "at-risk" students from grades k-12; taught Adult Education; taught and counseled through special services with children with emotional and psychological problems unable to attend public school.

Beth is a public speaker on numerous topics dealing with health and emotional issues. She has worked in both private practice, and several mental health centers, held professional workshops for state probation officers; worked at the Tenn. state reformatory; and worked as a guidance counselor in the public school system with both middle school and high school aged children.

Beth is a Nationally Certified Psychologist; a Certified Professional Counselor; and a Certified School Counselor. She has served on both the Haven of Hope and Centerstone Mental Health Center Board of Directors, and was invited to be a member of the International Honorary Society for Professional Counselors. She has been a member on numerous other committies and professional organizations for the past 30+ years.

 

Dr. Bob

Dr. Bob lives in Franklin County Tennessee.

Pastor Jerome Jochem, MS

Pastor Jochem is a part time counselor with the Center.
He resides in the Winchester with his wife and is a Pastor.

Jerome Jochem holds a double Master's Degree. The first degree is in Psychology from the  University

of Mississippi. After being called to Christian service, he earned a second Master's Degree which was in Bible Studies from Liberty Bible College in Florida.

As a Christian Counselor, Pastor Jochem utilizes the Word of God to resolve a variety of life problems. Pastor Jochem taught Christian Counseling methods while at Bible School and has over 18 years of counseling experience. This experience in combination with his studies in Psychology allow him to counsel a wide range of personal and family problems.

Pastor Jochem has been happily married to Roxie Jochem for over 26 years, has three daughters, and eleven grand children. He has lived in the Winchester area for nearly 19 years and has been the Pastor of Abundant Life Assembly of God for as many years. .

 

Cynthia R. Cox, LCSW

Cynthia is a part time therapist with the Center.
She resides in Manchester.

Cynthia received her undergraduate degree in Social Work from Middle

Tennessee State University and her Masters of Science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee College of Social Work.  She is certified as a school social worker through the Tennessee State Department of Education.  She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Cynthia has enjoyed helping people in the area of counseling since 1991. She has experience working with people with intensive mental illnesses, with children, with adolescents and with their families.  She has specialized training in Child Protective Services and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.  She is also a member of the National Association of Social Workers as well as the American Association of Christian Counselors.

 

Pam Gentrey LCSW

Pam is a part time therapist with the Center.
She resides in Shelbyville with her husband and two children.

Office Staff

Our office staff is extremely professional and caring.   All who contact us be they client or professional will find a helpful and respectful attitude.

 

Our office people who answer the phone, greeting people set the tone of caring for all who email, phone, or come into the office.

They have a wealth of knowledge in  office administration and management. They will assists in scheduling client appointments and are responsible for client receipting and billing procedures.
